Say YES to....

YES!!! to Carrots.. I used this tinted lip balm all summer. I like it. THE Pros.. nice color tint, small size, perfect for the beach, camping, and just on the go and very casual.Great for when you are not in the mood for lipstick, but still want a lil color on the lips. Minty flavor, variety of colors "I used ready red." Very Very comparable to the Burt's Bee line. Which I am also a fan of. Same price about $4.50. The only things I would really love to change is different or variety of flavors beside just mint, and a bit of SPF would be nice. BUT other than that.. Pretty much loved it. LIKE it a lot more than the Nivea.

Dark Circle Under Eye Remover~ you be the judge~

Ok So I was looking for something to help with my dark under eye circles and puffiness. As We get older it gets more common. I hear there are many things that contribute to it..I say mine is age.. As you can see in the photographs I think I found a Dark Under Eye Remover. VERY REASONABLE TOO!

It is Vita K. I bought it at Walmart for I think $11.99 It has been 4 and a half weeks between those two eye pix. The product says to start using it Day and Night for 4 - 6 Weeks every day.. I DID..and it has been 4 1/2 weeks and there is my results.

Pictures don't lie.. I see a difference. Do you? But I will say, my eyes are still puffy.. but the dark circles are gone. AND that is really all this product promises.

At first it does sting a bit and makes for watery eyes.. DON'T PUT IT IN your eyes.. the fumes are a bit strong and that is what makes your eyes water..But I have to say after faithful use..in no time there was no more stinging and no watery eyes.

It says after you get the results you want takes 4-6 weeks of putting it under your eyes 2 times a day, morning and night. You can go to once a day.. I am gonna start doing that soon. Probably this weekend. Well there you have it.. I say LOVE it.. for the price.. I just wished it reduced the puffiness too.

I will say so far my best bet with puffiness has been chilled tea bags..Cheap and Easy..and I have tried other products from Avon to various types of eye gels to Kinerase eye cream. Well that is my take.. let me know if there is something you like that works.

HAIR REMOVAL THAT WORKS!

I FOUND an alternative to shaving. BUT you have to order it online..works great. A bit messy, but 10 minutes and bikini hair is gone without shaving. Last longer and grows back softer. NO RASH either!!! I have sensitive skin. SO I am very very happy with this product. I read about it in a book "bitches on a budget" and looked it up online. Decided to order it! cost $14.99 and I say well worth the price. However this seems to be on back order a lot.. SO you know it is popular..I take that as a good sign...but bummed to wait for it. Also the smell is not as bad as some depilatory creams. If you want to check it out.. go to bettybeauty.com to order! I am sold!

A KISS OF SMOOTHNESS!!!!

Well I Love certain things about this product and then just like other things.

First off the size is pretty cool it is a little bigger than other lip balms like chapsticks. The way it dispenses is very easy! The size makes it easier to find in your purse also.

I LOVE the way it goes on, like liquid silk.. feels so smooth. The smell is not so bad for it being unscented and no flavor. Sometimes the "unscented" ones have a funky waxy smell.

I also like the fact is has an SPF 4..but it is only 4, however better than no protection at all.

The downsides well the SPF could be more.

It does not last for a long time. The silky sensation lasts a few minutes. It says long lasting moisturization. But It seems when I am outside I am applying a lot more frequently than I am use to. It feels like it wears off fast.

Then there is the price. It is over $3.00, for that amount I was expecting more than I would get from chapstick..But I have to say I didn't feel it was worth the money.

I also would like some flavor, I prefer flavored lip balms. But would sacrifice flavor for more SPF and longer lasting.

So I don't hate the product. But I have had better..Burts Bees is still one of my top picks. I also bought one from Victoria Secret I liked too. I have been advised to try "Yes to Carrots".. I think I will and then give a review on it.

MIRACLE INDEED!!!!

LOVE THIS... A LOT...

Well first off, I have a few Salon brands I absolutely love..but my budget is tighter than fill in the blanks______________.. SO MANY SAYINGS CAN GO THERE!

I have been using this product for a month. 2 times a week. I have naturally curly hair and am outdoors a lot. In the ocean A LOT.. process my hair about every 2 months or so, and my hair is soo dry and always seems damaged. OH yes and I am blond which tends to be more dry, because of the chemicals it takes to maintain the blond. I love ala natural..but just not comfortable enough yet to go completely gray..I love to experiment with hair color too. MY hair has literally been every color of the rainbow. Or just about.

ANY way... I was doing some online research to find out what could work to make my hair a little less frizzy. AGAIN I also am all about saving time. I saw Aussie 3 minute miracle listed over and over again on different websites. The reviews looked good. SO one day I saw it in Walmart and said.. OK I will try it.

EVERYTHING about this I love. THE price... it has been awhile since I purchased, but I believe it was like $3.99 at Walmart. THE packaging rocks no cap and you just squeeze and the right amount comes out. LASTS a long time. SMELLS GREAT!! Ta da... in three minutes your hair is soft and less frizzy.. WORKED the first time I used it.. but since I have continued to use it, really is repairing my hair.

I never tried the other Aussie products.. I just may if they are all like this one.

SO I say go ahead and give it a try and let me know what you think....

Trader Joe's for Facial Care!

LOVE this.. OK so I am a busy person and I don't have time or care to have some time consuming drawn out beauty routine every morning. I have tried a few things to make my mornings go by faster and without a lot of hassle. I also am on a major budget. LOVE shopping at Trader Joes and found these facial wipes. Decided to give them a try. It has been about 2 years, and they are my beauty staple addiction. I have very sensitive skin and am prone to break outs. These wipes have been great! They are textured and are infused with tea tree oil. So it is a facial wipe, cleanser and toner all in one. VERY reasonably priced at $3.99 for 50 wipes. Plus you can take them camping or anywhere on the go and wipe your face. VERY refreshing and I have had no break outs or irritations with these. THE smell can be a little harsh. But, it is tea tree oil. I would not recommend wiping your eyes with these to take off makeup, it will burn..but that is the only down fall I have found. Give it a try and let me know what you think. I also believe they are organic and vegan friendly. Another plus.

Then of course you need a daily facial moisturizing lotion. I LOVE the Trader Joes Enrich Moisturizer. It is light and does not go on greasy, absorbs right away(I hate facial lotion where you have to wipe your face with a tissue after you put it on), this absorbs well. Also a big thing for me, is it has an SPF 15. Does not irritate my skin and is fragrance free. Also very reasonable at $4.50.

I use these two items for a total of under $10 and they last about or over a month. Depending on if you use the wipes 2 times a day or once a day. The moisturizer definitely lasts over a month. MY beauty regime..and I get lots of compliments about how young I look and I have a good complexion. I didn't get a lot of that growing up. SO??? It could be partly my genes...but I am sure my simple and cheap daily beauty routine helps too.

NOW.. I am trying to find an inexpensive way to treat the bags under my eyes.. I am currently using something... which, I will post about later...after the 4 to 6 week trial. That is how long it says it takes to see results.. Stay tuned for that.

Nad's Body Wax Strips

BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! H A T E IT!!!!!!

So I surf.. and I am in a bikini A LOT. I wanted to find an alternative to shaving. Stubble seems to grow fast when shaving and it is not always fun to shave frequently , at least not for me. I do not have the time or money to go and get waxed. I was hoping to find an inexpensive way to go longer with out shaving. I used wax, when I was younger and it does last longer...but I have very sensitive skin and have always had a reaction whether it be bikini area or getting my eye brows waxed. BUT I thought maybe this would work. I have heard Nads was gentler and the box read well. Desensitizing wipes, soothing wipes. Strips with wax all ready to go. EASY..and didn't sound as messy as I remember waxing can be.

THE way it is suppose to work is: Directions
Easy to Use: First use desensitizing wipe to are to be waxed, let area dry then, Briskly rub strips between palms. Slowly separate double strip into two strips. Apply strip with firm pressure and firmly smooth over 3-4 times in direction of hair growth with the palm of your hand or fingers. Holding adjoining skin taut, pull strip back quickly and as close to the skin as possible in the opposite direction of hair growth. Continue using the same strip until no longer effective. Remove any excess wax left on your skin with the soothing & finishing wipes provided. Tips: For best results, hair should be between 3 to 5 mm long. For smaller areas, cut the strip to the required size. Use baby oil to remove excess wax if you run out of soothing & finishing wipes. Walla hair removal..relatively pain free.

NOT NOT NOT NOT!!!!.. I followed directions to a Capital "T".. I ended up with not one hair removed and bruised. The area where the wax was, was irritated and red. It left a sticky mess, but I used the soothing wipes and a warm bath after and the sticky mess was gone. The redness took a few hours to go away..but I am still bruised and think i will be for the next couple days.
It felt like pulling off a band aid..which i found not to be that painful. So that part was not too bad..BUT for the bit of pain and bruising..WAS bad enough.. IF I had to go through that. I would appreciate at least 1 hair to be removed..

AGAIN..as I will say..everyone is different, and this is my experience and my opinion. I WOULD NEVER recommend this product.. a waste of money! I think I spent about $11 on this..but I can't remember for sure. ANY way I would not spend a dime on it ever again.
